In 2025 and again in 2026, Austin neighbors voted JB Contracting a Neighborhood Fave on Nextdoor. For a small family business, that means everything. Thank you, Austin.
Whole job start to finish went smoothly. Crews were fantastic and professional, and John was in communication start to finish.

If I could give more stars I would. John was the only person who understood my request, quoted me a fair price, and did excellent work.

JB Contracting ATX is me, my wife Brooke, and our crew. We build decks, roofs, fences, pergolas, siding, and hardscape across greater Austin.
Over a decade building across Central Texas. Since 2024, under my own name. Long enough to know what this soil does to a footing that was not dug deep enough, and what a Hill Country wind finds in a cover that was not braced right.
We keep it small on purpose. When you call, you talk to me. When the crew shows up at your house, they're the same people we work with project after project.
Every deck, every roof, every fence we build is somebody's home. Somebody's Sunday morning coffee spot. Somebody's place where their kids grow up. I want it to be the kind of work I'd be proud to do on my own house, because the family living there matters as much as mine does.
The goal isn't to be the biggest contractor in Austin. It's to be the one your family trusts enough to call back.
Hired JB Contracting ATX prior to selling our home, for a full interior/exterior paint job, full fence replacement and roof replacement. Whole job start to finish went smoothly, crews were fantastic and professional, and John was in communication start to finish.
I needed new siding on a gable end of my house. I selected JB Contracting ATX because they looked like a professional outfit and their quote was very competitive. First off, John is a super nice guy and very pleasant to work with!
JB contracting is 5/5! They are fair, reliable, and honest. We had a fence that needed to get fixed. They gave us an honest assessment and a great price. And they fixed us for it in a timely manner.
John did a great job replacing my wood privacy fence. Communicated, provided an estimate, got the job done in a timely manner keeping both my tenant and neighbor happy.
I highly recommend this company! If I could give more stars I would. I was looking for somebody to repair my mom's patio cover and John was the only person who understood my request, he quoted me a fair price and did excellent work.
I recently had my roof replaced by JB Contracting ATX, and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. From the very first consultation to the final inspection, John made the process completely stress-free.
